Process and Warranty Information
Orders
Once an order is placed customer will be emailed CAD shop drawings for review and approval in order to insure that the product is fabricated to the customers exact desired details. Once approved, no changes can be made or refunds given. All orders are custom built and vary in size and complexity so while one product may be able to be built in one week, others may take many weeks to complete. Time estimates can be given at the time of shop drawings. Exterior doors are all custom order due to many more options such as thresholds, weatherstripping, etc...
Crating & Shipping
Streamlined Door Collection will be calculated at checkout. Custom orders will be quoted. All orders are considered oversized and will be shipped on trucks that do not have lift gates. It is the customers responsibility to coordinate offloading the products with the shipping company once they have received tracking information. Any damage to the packaging must be immediately reported to the shipping company before customer signs for the product.
Conditions
Because of its nature, wood will expand and contract. Changes in temperature, humidity and other conditions cause wood to warp, twist and crack. Proper storing and handling is paramount. Doors must be placed in a climate controlled environment and sealed immediately on all 6 sides. Montecito Porta will not be held responsible for damage due to these situations. These are not considered a defect.
Limited Warranty
Montecito Porta manufactures and ships un-finished wood products nationwide. Once our products are received, it is not possible for us to monitor the conditions in which they are kept. Claims on any order must be made within 48 hours of receipt of product. Products will not be returned without prior written approval. Any modifications to the product will void our warranty
Guarantee
Products must be inspected upon receipt and pictures taken. Our guarantee covers the replacement of products that have workmanship or material defects only. We thoroughly inspect each item before it is crated and shipped in order to ensure only the highest quality products are shipped.
